Amazon rain forest to become desert by 2050

The Hadley Centre for climate prediction and research has been working its climate change models again.  It predicts that large areas of Amazonia will become desert by 2050.   Click here to read more.

However, the Hadley boys work in Predicting disaster is their job.  The more they predict, the more government grant income they get.   Not only that, they are a branch of the United Kingdom Meteorological Office. Their day job is ordinary weather forecasting.  So don't stock up on sunscreen, or invest in a camel farm, just yet.    them master the three day forecast first.

I’ll be aged 96 in 2050, so I don’t expect to have the pleasure of checking up on this.  However we will remind people of the prediction, and since the forecasters say the process will begin in the 2040s younger iGreens should be able to say “told you so”.
