Next Monday is National Liftshare Day! 

The aim of  National Liftshare Day is to raise awareness of car-sharing and all it's associated benefits :

Car-sharing can assist you in reducing your travel costs which is particularly relevant at the moment with fuel prices rising
By sharing your car you can help to reduce congestion in your area
You can also help to reduce pollution, which in turn could help to reduce the incidence of asthma in the UK .

So how can you get involved?  Simple…

Go to www.liftshare.com and register any journeys you're making on and around 14th June
Pass on this e-mail to your friends and family.  Tell them about car-sharing and how it could help them to reduce their travel costs
Go to www.liftshare.com/nlsd to get more information on how to promote car-sharing in your area

Following the success of last year's event, the day will again be used to raise funds for Asthma UK .  We hope that everyone who car-shares on 14 th June will donate some of the money that they save through car-sharing to Asthma UK , to assist them in their research into the links between environmental pollution and asthma.  You can donate any savings you make through to Asthma UK through our on-line donations service at www.liftshare.com/nlsd .
